Hebrews 13:3 msg

Regard prisoners as if you were in prison with them. Look on victims o abuse as if what happened to them had happened to you.

Ohh... good scripture.
Just found this one this morning.
Cece is going through a lot of this at school right now.
A 6th grader threatened to stab to kill one of her friends this week over a tether ball confrontation.
He made good with his threat by bringing a knife to school the next day which another boy heard about, looked in his backpack then told the teacher.
Phew.
Her class and another teacher talked to their classes about bullies.
Cece said there were so many stories she doesn't even want to go to that school anymore.
She's been saying that for sometime.
She said most of the kids cried while hearing the stories.
And the teacher sobbed.
Will you pray with me?
For my children and yours:

Lord, God, Maker of Heaven and Earth we praise YOUR HOLY NAME JESUS!
On this morning we are in awe of your majesty and with lift your name on high, dear GOD!
On this day I praise YOU with my heart!
I rejoice in knowing YOU, my saviour!
JESUS!
Lord, I come before YOU and ask forgiveness for my sins.
Wash over me, forgive me dear GOD and renew in me your mercy.
Thank YOU JESUS that by your blood I am made like new!
Mercy.
Father, I lift up the children who are bullied on this day.
The children who are afraid.
The abused children.
I lift up those children who are being persecuted for your names sake.
I ask a hedge of protection around these children.
That no weapon formed against them shall prosper.
I ask in JESUS name, these things to be.
I ask that those of us would go into action, fall on our knees and petition YOU
for those that are hurting, neglected, abused, bullied on this day.
Hear our cries dear GOD.
Let those of us not deny YOU and lay hands on these children
that they may know the power of your love and come to YOU, dear GOD.
Be magnified, dear GOD!
Let us have empathy, compassion for those who are hurting.
Give them courage on this day, oh GOD and give us courage to do the right thing
and show mercy upon them and stand by them as YOU stand by us.
In the name of JESUS I pray.
