For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

Today's verse.
This morning as I was reading it, it reminded me of why we go.
It seems foolish to many.
To those in the streets and those in the church.
Like somehow R.A.V.E.N. is a 'works based ministry.'
NO, it's not a works based ministry.
It's not a benevolent ministry either.
If we use the food to feed the hungry then the hungry get fed.
If we use the baby items to clothe an unborn baby then the naked gets clothes.
But if we do not preach the gospel then we are no different than a secular charity like the red cross.
Those of us who go have seen and heard the LORD in our lives.
We believe in the power of GOD and can't help but share HIM and preach the message of the cross.
If you find yourself today with the spirit of the LORD upon you, come share it with us.
If you are complacent, come and hear about the LORD, get moving, we grieve for those who
have not yet seen nor heard nor felt the power of GOD in their lives...
in their everyday.
Call upon the LORD today that you may find his grace and mercy and then go tell someone about HIM!
