we praise the LORD for
thursday night and the team who assembled from different homes and churches and neighborhoods
to pray for each other and lift up the name of JESUS
to be blessed by the tons of food
and the word being preached
for my husbands testimony of who he was before walking with JESUS
and for the new work the LORD has done in his life and him being able to testify
among generations of believers and non believers to bring honor to our saviour, JESUS CHRIST
for protection from violence and mockers in dangerous places
for children looking up and forward to proclaim that JESUS is LORD and is near, around and next to them
for maddie unashamedly praying for children in the streets
for cece holding children's church in west ninth
for nicole not questioning what should she do but jumping in without fear
for bobbi extending her love for mothers and children across languages
for karen and rich serving the LORD together
for peter to stand by pastor rudy and kneel down in the streets before the LORD
for gloria and gloria knowing yet again no stranger, but accepting of everyone and being an example of CHRIST's love
to the churched and unchurched and testifying to what the LORD is doing in their lives,
for gabe having a knife and loading and unloading tons of food with a servants heart, no complaints, just love
for hez and josiah and patti showing up to love others on a thursday night
for shane finishing up a job done well
for matthew 15:26

26What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?
for when pastor rudy asked do you need to repent
an entire neighborhood nodding yes
and repenting
and nick standing beside rudy with the love and mind of CHRIST
and pastor brian having the word to give away freely to anyone who came near
and for the raven team to be outnumbered by men to women
and for prayer
and just enough potatoes
and $10 extra handed out
and a home to share and open
and rest in the LORD
we praise GOD for fellowship with like minded believers in the streets of santa rosa
in our home
in our cars
from thursday we remember these things
on friday we praise GOD for encouragement through emails
for donna across the nation
for testimony from the nations of what the LORD is doing in the hearts and minds of so many
for a son who graduated and stood beside his classmates with a heart full of love for them
for a safe grad night
for family flying in and driving over
for cake and pictures and food
for an impromptu party
for a house full of laughter
for anthony being born
for delight in watching him grow up
for julissa
for patti
for lisa
for nick
for his healing
for his family
for sofia in starbucks and time to pray
for angie in the parking lot and time to hug
for her family
for grandparents being here to witness the fruit of their labor at graduation
for cousins
for the songs played and heard
for the time to look upon them all, the graduates and give thanks to the LORD for being alive to witness it all
on saturday
we give thanks to the LORD for open homes and open hearts to share the LORD
for a home full of relatives
for old friends seen and hugged
for food in our cupboards and in tummies
for provision
for little nephews
on sunday we give thanks for
nicole
ethan
robby
their homes
their hearts
their minds
their potential to do great things for GOD
we give thanks for the many gifts that came to our son this past weekend
through cards
and messages
and hugs
and fellowship
on monday we give thanks
for vicki
and jordan
and the donaghys
and nick
and chris who gave his life and made it home
and streets lined out of respect for his sacrifice and for his family
for the veterans who have gone before him
for debbie
for austin's mom
for our troops we give thanks, oh GOD
and we give thanks for ability
and availability
and another day to celebrate YOU oh GOD
be magnified
be near
and may we be still.
