baby miguelangel

this morning karen, maddie, beatrice, joseph, andreas and i along with flowers and balloons traveled about 55 miles to san francisco.
our dear friend, sylvia, whom we have come to know and love since our first reach out nearly 20 months ago~
had to unexpectedly go in an ambulance late last week all the way to sf to have tests~
she ended up giving birth to a 2lb baby whose name in spanish means ANGEL.

today at the hospital
we were able to read to her from isaiah~
we are able to lay hands on her and pray~
we were able to tell her that we love her~
and we were able to talk with her nurses and husband~
and bring her daughter home to our home for some rest with maddie and cece.

tonight i ask all of you to stand firm in faith for the albor family~
that their precious mother, sylvia, will have a speedy recovery~
that their precious baby angel will take all the time needed to grow and get strong~
he came off the ventilator this morning and the decision has been made to have him get a blood transfusion soon.
karen and i agreed that he was in good care~
please continue to pray~

i will be picking up sylvia at the hospital on either tuesday or wednesday in san francisco~
her husband needs to get back to work as he has taken a week off and must make rent~
sylvia needs meals, help with her home and with her two other beautiful children~
and she very much needs to stay off her feet and rest for at least 6 weeks~ at least~
her voice is weak of course as she has just been through surgery and really, a traumatic birth~
but she is assured that the LORD is keeping her safe and will carry her through this~

if anyone out there could possibly help with funds~
sylvia is going to need to get back and forth to san francisco for the next two months (at least) as many times as possible to nurse and care for her baby angel~
she is going to need preemie clothes (!!!)~
she is going to need help with everything that goes along with being a mommy~

this week i am committed to gathering some women to help cook for her~
we need someone willing to go to the grocery store and buy some groceries for her family and for the families who are helping take care of her other two children and her daycare children~

i know there are MANY people who read this blog~
i am committed to driving back and forth to san francisco to help her see her baby angel~
as often as need be~
i need you to help being a part of this recovery for their family~
please consider emailing me and letting me know what you can do~
even giftcards for the family would be a great help!
i'm thinking groceries, gas and parking/bridge toll~
the absolute basics.

sylvia has stood on rainy nights with our team praying for many of your prayer requests~
she has stood inside and outside the boxtruck helping us feed our community with thousands of pounds of food~
she has held bible studies in her home and carried the cross with us through the human race in santa rosa~

we love her and will do everything we can to help her~
please don't let this opportunity go by without praying for her speedy recovery~
lifting up her children, marriage, home to JESUS~
and being a part of this miracle baby angel's beginning.

i praise GOD that HE knows all things and that she is hopeful~
