Hello friends,
I wanted to let you know how the outreach is making an impact in our city. As we drove into the court last week, we were met in the street by families that had already begun to gather! There was an air of excitement and anticipation as we got out of the vehicles to greet them.
They were and still are very appreciative of our coming there. We delivered 24 bags of food and donated 2 very large boxes of clothing and toys to the families. We even found a woman that is familiar with our church, who speaks some Spanish, and lives there in the court!! Praise God, she wants to be part of what is happening there. I believe we may even be blessed to use the Food Bank for some of the supplies we donate on a weekly basis. Keep praying for that.
I was unable to knock on enough doors last week (one man can only run so fast and reach so many doors). Please, we need your support in person as well as donated food. This week, would you join us for some caroling as we minister to them? Would someone bring a guitar and some candy canes (lots)? We are earning their trust... let's continue to do this until they all hear the Name of Jesus Christ as their Savior!
