gathering for the nations

so these kits we are making each week (each day?)
keep growing in number...
please look around your homes and neighborhoods, coworkers, drawers...
we are collecting:
hotel or travel sized toiletries (soaps, lotions, shampoos, conditioners)
new socks (baby, men, women, children)
new underwear (children, men, women)
sanitary napkins
gallon sized ziploc bags
gently new or used clothing
new hair things (pony tail holders, barrettes, clips, scrunchies, ribbons, combs, brushes)
deodorants
toothbrushes
toothpaste
dental floss
mouthwash
baby diapers
baby blankets
baby hats
baby clothes
toys (that will fit into gallon sized ziploc bag)
stickers
bandaids
flipflops (men, women, children)
colorful tshirts (tank tops ok)
scarves
mittens
gloves
beanies
ponchos
emergency blankets
please bring your offerings to the foot of the cross 24/7!!!

kits collected through labor day are going to iraq!
kits collected through thanksgiving are going to mexico!
kits collected through winter are going to india!
kits collected through easter are going to kenya!
kits collected all year long reaching the lost, lonely, hurting in the USA!

they aren't just 'going' we know personally who will be 'giving them'
and are prayerful that they will be handed out in the name above all names, JESUS!

please make some contacts in the dentistry field
please go to walmart and ask for a donation and shop
please go to target and ask for a donation and shop
please go to the dollar stores
please sew some handmade baby blankets
please when u go to a hotel take your own soap and bring back the free ones to freely give away!
please draw some pictures with your kids and fold them up so we could put them inside

i know i keep blogging about these...
but i just can't help it!
