UGO4GOD A Year In Pictures 2005-2006 is a glimpse into what the Lord has revealed to us this year. It is with much appreciation to all of you for your faithfulness to this ministry that we have had the opportunity to GO4GOD this year from Tijuana, Mexico to New Orleans, Louisiana~ from Santa Rosa to Skid Row, Los Angeles and San Francisco. Starting with 18 bags of groceries from our tiny kitchen last October to over 100,000 lbs of food delivered and received by families in Sonoma County as of this fall. 1500 toys were delivered at Christmas time for orphans and children living in the garbage dumps and near 70 people went to join in the Happy Birthday JESUS party with Streetwise Ministry all the way to Mexico. A dozen teams went to bring relief from the greater bay area of California in the immediate aftermath of Hurricane Katrina via motor home, trucks, vans, a Sports Mobile and planes to the Gulf Coast to minister with RAVEN International. There were 10,000 eggs at Easter, street churches in gang neighborhoods and hundreds of decisions for Christ across California to New Orleans and Mexico.
As we look through these pictures there are phrases that come to mind: “I thought you forgot about us” from a mother in the Ninth Ward of New Orleans back in February~ “I was just prayin’ and prayin’ during the storm (Hurricane Katrina) that God would send someone and then you showed up” from a child in September from Metarie, Louisiana~ “Is there somewhere I can get someone to pray for me?” from a brother in Bogalusa, Louisiana~ “Jesus was enough” from our daughter after running out of food and presents in the dumps of Tijuana, Mexico at Christmas time~ “Look at me, look into my eyes, I want you to see that Jesus loves you” from a sister in the Tenderloin~ “There’s a hungry person, are you going to feed him? And, How come we only do ministry on Thursdays mom? What about all the other days?” from our daughters.
We stand firm to bring the gospel message to the lost, lonely and hurting children of this country and beyond and wait with expectancy for lives to be saved for eternity by the amazing grace of JESUS CHRIST trusting that God is in the details. “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
Our prayer is that none shall perish without knowing the forgiveness and love of JESUS~ that none will go another day hungry, thirsty, unloved and unprayed for~ and that as servants of our powerful, mighty, merciful GOD, we can together look into the eyes of those who we have witnessed to this year with love~ put our excuses aside and say to God, “Here am I. Send me.”

Man--there are a lot of memories...amd testimonies in those pictures! It makes me think of:
Habakkuk 2:2-3 "Then the LORD answered me and said: Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it seems to be delayed, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not be delayed."
Let's get busy writing some more history my brothers and sister in Christ! Let's not rest as long is there is yet one.....

It's pretty amazing to look back at this year and think about it all~ and category 5 hurricanes & cancer in the middle of it!!!
I'm hoping you were able to listen to JORDAN sing while you were watching the slideshow~ Jordan is the gentleman who tithed 2 bucks to Bobby Chance on Skid Row~ homeless, very, very sick~ needed a pair of size 13 shoes~ there's a picture of him on the dvd I sent you plus a picture if you scroll down w/ Bobby~ here's Jordan, preachin the word and lifting up JESUS last Saturday on his home aka skid row~
I mailed you and Melanie a memory book PT~ it should be there on Friday~ I hope you enjoy it~ I need to mail you a copy of this slideshow~ they weren't burned yet~ I'll pop it in the mail tomorrow~ CAN'T wait for TEXAS!
