Marriage

Many people have asked why on earth do I have my wedding dress hanging in my room on display? Well, on this day 14 years ago, I got to wear it and walk down the aisle to marry Rudy! It was a big day for me~ for my family, for Anthony, Maddie and Cece~ and I thank God for answering prayer and allowing me to live beside a man who not only fears God, but serves God and loves his wife and family "bigger than the sky."

This morning while I was getting ready to go meet Rudy for lunch the VIEW was on tv~ it sickened me, their discussion was about marriage and how it is projected that in less than 20 years marriage in America will be obsolete. Statistics today showed that there are less married people in the US than unmarried people. Marriage has been deemed unimportant to the generation under mine~ nothing more than a legal statue to help with insurance, tax write offs, etc.

I urge all of you to stand firm for the sanctity of marriage, what it represents and not just politically but everyday stand firm with LOVE for your spouse!

Please pray with me: Dear Jesus, I thank you that YOU are the lover of our souls~ I thank you that you have given me the opportunity to love my husband~ thank you that you have given us a blessed sacrament known as marriage~ I ask Father God that you would protect what it is to be "married" in America~ that Satan would be rebuked from marriages~ that there would be a renewing of hearts and minds in this country about marriage! I ask for boldness to stand against divorce, lies, addictions, infidelity and all other tactics the enemy throws at marriages to break them up~ NO MORE will I allow these things to be glorified!

I ask a special blessing on the marriages of the RAVEN team who have grown closer by seeking you first in their lives and by their surrendering to you, their marriages have been strengthened this past year~ I ask a special blessing over those who are longing to be married~ and I thank you JESUS that your love is more than enough for their contentment~ Protect and restore marriages all across the United States and beyond, JESUS~ thank you that YOU are the cord that binds us together~ in JESUS name, AMEN.
