Chicks don't come from Monkeys!

Hey everyone!
I have a scripture for you guys.... Genesis 1:26-28
26-28 God spoke: "Let us make human beings in our image, make them
reflecting our nature
So they can be responsible for the fish in the sea,
the birds in the air, the cattle,
And, yes, Earth itself,
and every animal that moves on the face of Earth."
God created human beings;
he created them godlike,
Reflecting God's nature.
He created them male and female.
God blessed them:
"Prosper! Reproduce! Fill Earth! Take charge!
Be responsible for fish in the sea and birds in the air,
for every living thing that moves on the face of Earth."

As some of you guys know, my classmates and I aare learning about the homo saipens, neathrathals, lucy, and a bunch of dumb stuff. I got this shirt at Rock of Ages, that says "Chicks don't come from Monkeys" I think that it's soooo awesome, now i'm going to wear it to school. I have one question for you guys, (one that I asked my teacher :) ) If people evolved from monkeys then why aren't people still evolving from monkeys??????
I hope that I don't find an answer to that one! See most of you at the bbq today!
