Okay~ feeding 1,000 families per month is coming down to my requesting a BIG sacrifice....from 100 people every month...yep, I need you to give up one Starbucks per month to keep this outreach going of bringing food to 1,000 families per month....I know, I'm not kidding...it's a hard one even for me...I love my non-fat white chocolate mocha or cinnamon non fat latte probably more than Rudy loves his double caramel macchiato with an extra shot of espresso....but I love knowing that the tummies are full across town more and that the gospel is going out every week to people w/ o homes and w/o JESUS. So...anytime you see me or a Starbucks...I'm challenging you to drop me $5... per month...yep, you can make a check out too if you'd rather, to HOPE WEST or HOPE CHAPEL and memo UGO4GOD/Papago or memo UGO4GOD OUTREACH if that's easier to remember. Only $5 at a time is all it will take. Olwynne, thanks for the idea of keeping an empty Starbucks cup and just filling it up~ if everyone who reads this blog daily would give up one Starbucks per month, the outreach will continue...1,000 bags of groceries will be delivered every month...but, we're running out of $! I'll put some envelopes on my porch in the pretty white bucket incase you drive by... don't give up Starbucks altogether...c'mon, I'm not THAT radical, just one grande per month! Thanks all. uh-oh! Hmmm....how much do I enjoy my soy-caramel-macchiatto-with-extra-caramel-on-top??? Well, if that means keeping the outreach going, then okay, I'll give up a cup once a month.

Thanks Shayne! Please pray that there will be 100 people to donate a cup of Starbucks every month...that's it...that's all it will take! Maybe we should make a date on the calendar...like Mondays or something...no Starbucks on Monday (fast!)...come off the weekend from being filled up w/ the message and don't buy starbucks on Mondays! If we got 25 people to fast Starbucks on Mondays...that would be 4 per month x 25 people...that would do it! Rudy and I will...so now we only need 23 more people to fast Starbucks on Mondays! DONE. Please post if you're in for no starbucks on Mondays and will instead give $5 every Monday...or $20 per month! C'mon!

We believe STRONGLY in the work that God has using doing in that area and want to be a part of it!
I wonder if anyone would want to MATCH the challenge for $50 monthly for the next 6 months?
