THANK YOU TO 23 Families (some known and others anonymous) who have dropped off their eggs &/or money for EGGS! If you've committed to them please drop them off before April 9th! If you haven't filled them up yet, everyone is saying to buy them at Big Lots or Wal Mart for the cheapest! If you are just hearing about the egg hunt, it's April 15th and it's for hundreds of kids living on the westside of Santa Rosa in what has been deemed the "most dangerous" place in the city. It will be held at Comstock Middle School and we need thousands of plastic eggs filled up! Our living room is full of thousands of eggs! How fun is that? We only need 20 more families to fulfill their commitment (we had 43!)and we should have near 10,000 eggs! WOOHOO! But we really need you to follow through~ Considering the fliers went out last night to 250 families about the egg hunt on the 15th! Thanks to Lisa & Jim luvarekids@aol.com for getting the pancake breakfast figured out, Mike & Angie hopesr@sonic.net for getting UTURN to hide the eggs and Nick for giving the message, the Bennetts for promising a jump house and Hope West for the portable sound system, Liz and Shayne on worship and Naomi on prize baskets... Streetwise Ministry www.streetwiseministry.com (Bobby and Dot Chance) for their generous contribution and RAVEN Ministries www.BigGrace.com (Pastor Troy Bohn) for starting off the donations w/ a very generous donation! Also, thank you to Maddie and Cece Gonzalez, Jenna and Connor Schumacher, Alex Canepa, Samantha Rasore, Glory Upchurch and Alondra who came to fill 1500 eggs Wednesday night (!) and Kelly Marshall who filled over 1,000~ thank you to the UGO4GOD girls who filled over 1,000 too... only about 3,000 more to fill! WOOHOO! Naomi, I'm with you...it's not crazy...it's fun! There is a place for all of you on Saturday, April 15th to GO4GOD! The eggs are just a sideshow~ let's bring JESUS to the most "revived" part of town! Wear RAVEN color (BLACK) and just show up w/ a servant's heart at 7am-10am on the 15th~ God Bless you ALL!
